Scottdale, GAPrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, is working with a busy fabrication company that is seeking experienced structural steel welders.

Major
Responsibilities:
Ability to pass welding test using Solid Wire Welding in horizontal position.
Capable of welding horizontally, flat and in overhead positions.
Ability to join parts by applying heat to permanently fuse the metal together.
Experience in operating hand-welding and/or flame-cutting equipment to join metal components or for the purpose of filling in spaces, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
The welder monitors the fitting, burning, and all welding processes to avoid overheating of parts of materials relating to warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion.
Usage of overhead cranes to move large pieces of material.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Bending, Stooping, Kneeling and Reaching Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of continuous experience welding.
