Graphic Design Specialist
United Musculoskeletal Partners (UMP) is a private equity backed management services organization (MSO) that supports orthopedic practices across the United States.
Founded in December of 2021 by Resurgens Orthopaedics, we have already partnered with eight practices in three states with over 250 orthopedic surgeons, and have a robust pipeline of potential new practice partnerships.
We are on a mission to improve quality, access and convenience of orthopedic care for all! The Marketing, Communications and Business Development approach is evolving from practice-specific teams to a shared service model that will support all practices with shared strategies, best practices and resources.
Role Summary Hybrid in Atlanta - Denver - or Dallas UMP is seeking a talented multimedia graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and develop visual representations across both print and digital media.
The role of the graphic designer is to use design to communicate ideas, inform consumers, and solve problems.
This includes, but is not limited to illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.
The graphic designer will partner with various stakeholders across the business to shape visual assets for websites, social media, collateral, advertisements, business development, events and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) o Design both print and digital materials that support growth and education for the UMP brands o Work with marketing leadership and external parties (ad hoc) to establish creative standards and brand guidelines across brands; partner with other marketing team members to coordinate the delivery and approval of design elements o Prepare rough drafts and present ideas based on design requirements; Amend designs after feedback o Proofread to produce accurate and high-quality work o Complete design projects on time and effectively manage deadlines, budgets and expectations.
Must be able to manage several projects at a time o Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, high quality and on-brand.
o Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software o Brainstorm and experiment with different design methods to create graphics and images that meet business goals while attracting consumers o Manage inventory of graphic materials and recommend new equipment, software, and display material needs o Be a visible and interactive team member with other Practice Support Center team members and the Practices themselves.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation of spending at least three days per week in a UMP officeQualifications o Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or similar field or 3 -5 years hands on job experience in graphic design o Highly adept with design programs in Adobe suite, such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator o Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
o Excellent eye for detail o Strong time-management and problem-solving skills o Strong communication skills o Ability to accept and incorporate constructive feedback o Creative-thinking skills and ability to think outside of the box o Most importantly, must be a team player and willing to collaborate with others to move forward the UMP brand!
